ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
FlashCut CNC, an established, growth oriented, world leader in PC based CNC controls is looking to hire a motivated, energetic Electrical Engineer to lead the electronic and firmware development of our automation product line in our Deerfield, IL office. Candidates should be engineers with a diverse knowledge base and a wide variety of interests.
Responsibilities include:
- Electrical Design and Layout of our motion control board.
- Firmware programming, testing and debugging.
- Integration of our motion control product line.
- Creating engineering support and technical documentation for print and web publications.
- Collaborating with other engineers to develop new products.
- Providing pre-sales and post-sales engineering support when necessary.
- Quality testing of new electronic and software features as they are developed.
The Candidate must have:
- A BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years experience.
- Experience in Microprocessor Firmware Programming.
- Proficiency in C and C++.
- Experience in circuit design and layout.
- Experience in surface mount design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask as a team member in a fast paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Machine shop, CAD/CAM and CNC knowledge is a plus, but not required.
Salary: Dependant upon relevant experience
