"My name is David deCaussin. I am the former owner of Fadal Engineering Co, along with my brother Larry deCaussin. I would like to say a few things about my background, and why I chose Flashcut CNC as my CNC control.

In 1975, my company Fadal Engineering Co entered the machine tool business. Our first product was a one arm tool changer that mounted to the side of a Bridgeport type of machine. My wife and I took a machine to the Chicago Machine Tool Show. There, we met most of the machine tool distributors in the world. After a few years of the hassle of dealing with machine and CNC control builders, we sold that product to Summit Engineering in 1977. This solved the service problem. They manufactured the Bandit CNC control. We chose to manufacture the entire machine, including the CNC control. At this time, there are over fifty thousand of our VMC machines in the world. We sold that company in 1995 to Giddings and Lewis.

Since retiring, I have still been involved in designing, and building machine tools. One of my problems was finding a CNC control that is easy and quick to interface. I had gone thru a half dozen CNC controls until I discovered Flashcut CNC. This CNC control has been very well thought out. Using standard G codes, and great flexibility. Interfacing is really user friendly, like plug and play. The configuration pull down menu makes it very easy to adapt to you needs. Hey no Ladder Diagrams.

Another great thing about Flashcut CNC is their great support system. I needed a macro written to operate an eight position servo turret for a small lathe I have developed. Not a problem. In less than a week I was up and running. Not only is this CNC control very powerful, the price is a bargain! I am so impressed with this CNC control I have recommended it to many of my friends in the industry."
