FLASHCUT CNC 6TH ANNUAL BIKE TO WORK DAY RAISES $7K FOR ERIKA’S LIGHTHOUSE

On July 11th, FlashCut CNC and 40 supporters of Erika’s Lighthouse biked a 20 mile route – starting from our Deerfield office and returning back just in time for breakfast. This event marked our 6th annual Bike to Work Day. This year all proceeds from the event went to Erika’s Lighthouse (ELH) which is dedicated to suicide prevention. Gravely, our community and surrounding communities have recently been plagued by many tragic losses due to suicide. We as a company would like to use our Annual Bike to Work Day as a “call to action” and raise money to support Erika’s Lighthouse in their valiant effort to bolster suicide prevention and depression awareness.

Erika’s Lighthouse is a 501(C)(3) charitable organization based in Winnetka, Illinois. Founded in 2004. Thanks to generous grants and donations like ours, ELH is able to offer free of charge a variety of materials, programs and activities designed to help middle and high school teens, their parents, teachers and health professionals identify depression and the behaviors that can lead to suicide before it is too late.
